Graveltech Loses Bid for 2008 Single Speed World Championships

I a heavily contested and cutthroat competition, the elegant dance of representitive Billy "Highland Flung" Spaceman proved inadequate to seize the honor of hosting the Single Speed Worlds in the United States. As disappointed as we all are, the Winner of 2008 decider will bring the Greatest Event on Earth to the United States after all. Curtis Inglis of Inglis/Retrotec, swooped in with a cunning plan to host the 2008 Worlds by actually planning something. Congratulations Curt, you schooled us by proving once and for all hosting the worlds requires a plan and forethought, rather than just a funny hat. Well, live and learn... Thanks to the Scots for putting together a shindig to remember, and we'll see you all in California next year. If you're flying into San Fran/Oakland (as I imagine many of you are), don't forget to arrive early for the pre-event in San Francisco as we entertain you by riding on the coat-tails of giants!
